Directions for Mental Health's Children's Services Have A New Location!

Directions for Mental Health will open its Oakwoods location as a children's services office on Monday, August 9, 2010. The office, located at 8823 115th Avenue N., Largo, will be the site for mental health and case management services for children, ages 0-18, who require services. Directions for Mental Health will see current child clients at this location and is accepting new clients in counseling, psychiatry and case management. Directions for Mental Health serves clients from Clearwater, Largo, St. Petersburg, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Oldsmar, Pinellas Park, Lealman and surrounding areas.

The new, 11,000-square-foot children's office was recently renovated and includes a welcoming, new lobby, comfortable counseling offices and additional space for the mental health practice.

Clients between the ages of 0-18 will be seen at this new location beginning August 9th.

Appointments may still be set by calling (727) 524-4464. Adult services will remain at the Clearwater location (1437 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater).

Directions to the new children's office:

From North Pinellas County: Head South on S Keene Road/CR-1 until it becomes Starkey Road. Turn left onto 115th Avenue N., which is approximately 1 mile south of Ulmerton Road. 8823 115th Avenue is on the left.

From South Pinellas County: Head North on US-19 N. Turn left onto 118th Ave N/CR-296 W. Turn right onto Starkey Road/CR-1N. Turn right onto 115th Avenue N. 8823 115th Avenue N. is on the left.

Bus routes: Bus 73 (Starkey Road and Southern Comfort Drive) and Bus 58 (Starkey Road and Brian Dairy Road)
