  • More than half of all homeless people suffer from some type of mental illness, substance abuse or both.
  • Roughly 33% of Florida’s homeless are families with children.

Imagine a world where homeless families receive the help they need to succeed in their quest for independence and stability.

Programs for the Homeless

  • Homeless Outreach helps adults and families by assessing them for mental health and/or substance use disorder needs and linking them with counseling services and to resources for their everyday survival needs.
  • Homeless Street Outreach partners with law enforcement to outreach chronically homeless persons by linking them to community resources.
  • Community Transition helps previously homeless adults and families succeed in their quest for independence through in-home counseling, support and substance abuse relapse prevention.
