One of the reasons we do a four session assessment is to determine exactly that. If you meet with a therapist and it doesn't feel like a good fit, we are happy to transfer you to another therapist on our staff or provide outside referrals.
DISCLAIMER: We reserve the right to refuse services to any person at any time who we deem to have needs out of our scope of practice (especially personality disorders & psychotic disorders since they require in person support), disrespectful and harassing of staff, or any other reason that will either violate our practice standards or for private reasons. BIOGRAPHY
Andrew Megerdechian is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) committed to helping individuals find greater calm, happiness, and fulfillment in their daily lives. With over five years of experience in crisis counseling, supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, and working closely with parents of children on the autism spectrum, Andrew brings compassion, insight, and steadiness to the therapeutic relationship. He offers a warm and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful, lasting change. His approach is rooted in Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Existential Therapy—integrating practical tools for daily life with deeper exploration of identity, values, and purpose. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. His practice is informed by a deep understanding of the systemic, personal, and familial dynamics that influence emotional well-being. While Andrew primarily serves adults, his extensive experience working with children adds a unique lens to his work with parents and families.
