There are certain challenges that require in person services, specific trainings, and/or EXPERTISE due to being either more high risk or circumstantially appropriate. The following are challenges that require a higher level of care or need in person attention and will be referred out for more appropriate services:

BIOGRAPHY

Kasara Ashford (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who earned her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University California. She is dedicated to creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard and understood. Grounded in strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered methods, Kasara invites clients to explore their unique stories at their own pace, fostering personal growth and courage throughout their therapeutic journey. Holding an undergraduate degree in Sociology from California State University, East Bay, she is passionate about social justice and cultural awareness. Kasara understands the complexities of identity and is committed to addressing the systemic issues that can affect mental health and well-being. With over a decade of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in behavioral health settings, she finds joy in collaborating with and supporting clients as they navigate life’s challenges and work towards their goals in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
